PNK Group to build 140 000 sq. m. for Leroy Merlin

The Russian industrial facilities developer and the international retailer have announced the construction of a distribution center.

On 6 September 2018 the ceremony of burying a capsule took place at the site and was attended by the Governor of Moscow Region Andrey Vorobiov, General Manager of Leroy Merlin Vincent Gentil, and Managing Director of PNK Group Evgeny Skaridov, who all gave speeches on account of the occasion.

The built-to-suit distribution center will be constructed according to all the requirements of the retailer and will be located 27 km from the Moscow Ring Road on a 31 ha plot in the Dmitrovsky District of Moscow Region.

Preparation of the plot, which includes earthwork, has already commenced. The distribution center is scheduled for commission in Q1 2020. An investment of 10 billion roubles has been designated for the project.
