Saint Spring Water Production Plant for IDS Borjomi Russia

IDS Borjomi Russia, the leader of the Russian bottled spring water market (owner of the Borjomi, Saint Spring and Edelweiss brands), signed an agreement with the Russian industrial facilities developer PNK group for the construction of the largest drinking water production plant in Russia with a capacity of over 1 billion bottles per year.

The plant is to become the fourth production complex of IDS Borjomi Russia. The new project will be implemented on a built-to-suit basis, which implies that the plant will be delivered to the client as a fully operational facility. Construction will begin in late 2020 on the territory of PNK Park Northen Sheremetyevo in the Moscow Region. The launch of the Saint Spring water production plant is scheduled for early 2022. The investment project will create 200 jobs at the initial stage, which will be doubled by launch of all production lines.

The complex will include a distribution center for 40 thousand pallet positions, a modern R&D laboratory and a developed infrastructure, occupying a total of 45,000 sq. m on a plot of 14 hectares, located within 25 km of the Moscow Ring Road, in the Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow region. The project is exceptional not only in its scale, but also in the innovative production technology utilized at the facility. The high-speed production lines will be fully automated and capable of producing over 2.7 million units per day, which will create opportunities for expanding the product range.
