PNK group and international logistics company CDEK signed an agreement of lease for the first floor of a two-storey industrial building in PNK Park Medvedkovo, located in Moscow near metro station Medvedkovo. The total area specified in the contract reached nearly 33,000 sq. m.
The first floor will accommodate a three-way cross-dock and a mezzanine spanning nearly 5000 sq. m. At the request of CDEK, the facility will be retrofitted with an office space, which will occupy over 2,000 sq. m.
After the facility is successfully commissioned and a certificate of ownership is issued, the industrial building will most likely become part of industrial real estate investment fund PNK-Rental (Closed-End Joint-Stock Investment Fund), which focuses on private investors.
The industrial building in Medvedkovo is perhaps the first multi-storey building of this class within the Moscow Ring Road. It is designed to help improve the situation with the urban logistics in the city: thanks to building’s the location, the delivery time to the end-consumer will be significantly reduced. The structural elements used in the construction of the facility were produced at PNK factories in the Moscow region. Each of the building’s levels has a separate dedicated entrance for heavy-duty vehicles with docking gates located both on the first and second floors.
The second floor of the building may be of interest to – among others – high-tech manufacturing companies that value good transport accessibility and small area size: blocks as small as 5000 sq. m and more are currently available for rent.
